Meetings have to be arranged well ahead of time, so the organisers cannot be blamed for the terrible weather which unfortunately made wildlife recording nearly impossible.
However there was great bird watching to be had with the Pale bellied Brent geese being worth the visit on their own.
Much discussion took place as to recording technique and kit, and an interesting weekend was had by all.
